innoVIVA
About
innoVIVA develops and distributes smart breath analyzers for athletes. innoVIVA’s core offering is the LactoLevel - a mobile spirometer for ambitious individual athletes, as well as sport clubs and groups, which is operated via an easy-to-use app.
Due to the high technical and operational complexity, InnoVIVA teamed up with BatchOne to accelerate product development and future production. The goal was to support InnoVIVA with an express product design to convince future customers and partners at the MEDICA and ISPO fairs, and to kickstart the pre-marketing of the product.
The brand values, product vision, product requirements and use cases for the hardware and the user interface were defined together with innoVIVA. After initial market and competitor research, the first design ideas and preliminary product positioning were developed. Based on future product pricing – as well as technical, component, and Bill of Materials requirements – two design concepts were developed in 3D and several renderings were generated. These were also rapidly 3D printed to verify ergonomics and handling. Once the final design was chosen and feedback was implemented and updated in 3D, photorealistic renderings were generated and the high quality lookalike prototypes produced.

With more than 20 years of experience, Ferkaran has worked for a diverse range of industries spanning consumer electronics, automotive, home automation and IoT, industrial, lifestyle as well as the medical and music sectors. His work has earned him over 15 international design awards.
Fer is a founder of the Munich-based product strategy and design studio, Phosphor. He has worked in Europe and Asia as an independent design consultant for start-ups, world-renowned design agencies and global corporations.

Barbara

Barbara, an industrial and CMF designer, co-founded Phosphor after working independently for world-leading design agencies such as Designit and Designaffairs, serving clients including Samsung, LG and Bosch.
Over the years Barbara has gained extensive experience and knowledge working on CMF (Color, Material and Finish) projects, as well as trend forecasts for various corporations.
She has received several international design awards including multiple iF Design Awards, Rat für Formgebung nominations and several Red Dot Awards.

Niclas has been fascinated with entrepreneurship and technology for all of his life. He started his career in the innovation department of T-Systems MMS where he helped co-found the DTAG spin-off Couchfunk. Later he became an Associate Partner at PULSAR Consulting where he focused on Innovation Management, M&A, Corporate Venturing and Fundraising. He is also the co-founder of rapitag.
After supporting Hardware.co, TechFounders and organizing his own Events for Hardware Startups, he founded BatchOne out of his desire to support founders to bridge the gap from first prototype to mass production. He is also a passionate speaker and mentor at a lot of accelerator programs and conferences.
